The discussions brought all members one step closer to realising the Working Party’s aim of developing a compendium of practices to assist Member States in their efforts to combat hate crime. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange up-to-date information concerning incidents of hate crime or hate speech against refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. The next step will be to collect practices and set up an online compendium. These practices will highlight success factors and transferable elements to combat hate crime across the EU.
