Civil society and FRA continue to strengthen ties

The FRA Director and civil society organisations exchanged information in Brussels on 10 February about current and future work.

The discussions ranged from the latest human rights developments, particularly concerning migration and integration to how to better communicate rights and enable civic space. The Agency also spoke about the Agency’s civil society cooperation platform – the Fundamental Rights Platform and upcoming FRA work, including the 2018 Fundamental Rights Forum.

These meetings are part of a series of meetings the Director is having with civil society organisations to increase information exchange between civil society and the Agency. He met with Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Open Society Policy Institute, and the newly elected Troika of the Human Rights and Democracy Network (HRDN).
