High-level radicalisation expert group meets

EU Member States, the European Commission, representatives of other EU institutions and relevant EU Agencies came together for the the second meeting of the Subgroup to the High Level Commission Expert Group on Radicalisation (HLCEG-R).

The meeting on 9 November in Brussels covered such issues as ideology and polarisation, communication and online propaganda, education and social inclusion and external dimension. They also continued the discussion on prisons and reintegration, the local dimension and multi-agency approaches, children and youth, and information exchange. The work of the subgroup should result in a set of recommendations for the Justice and Home Affairs Council in December.
