AI discrimination explored at Amsterdam Privacy Conference

The Agency organised a panel discussion on transparency for detecting discrimination in artificial intelligence applications during the Amsterdam Privacy Conference on 7 October.

Leading academics discussed what transparency means in artificial intelligence applications. They pointing towards the need for information that allows a better understanding of the impact of different tools in different contexts. The discussions supported FRA’s work on artificial intelligence, big data and fundamental rights.
