The Agency made a number of interventions during the meeting, including on the subject of anti-Semitism and on mutual recognition in criminal matters – where FRA was able to draw on its rich evidence base and its ongoing research to underline the importance of fundamental rights compliance and people’s experiences of rights in practice. The Agency was present throughout the discussions concerning migration and asylum, as well as all other sessions relating to the justice field.
A number of bilateral meetings between the Agency and different delegations took place; including with the Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Kasja Ollongren; the Greek Minister for Migration, Dimitris Vitsas; and the Romanian Minister of Justice, Tudorel Toader.
