OSCE debate covers border security and information sharing

On 16 April, the Agency took part in a panel discussion organised by the OSCE Security Committee.

The panel looked at border security and information sharing. It particularly focused on OSCE activities to counter the threats posed by the return of foreign terrorist fighters. FRA presented some fundamental rights safeguards as relevant for the discussions, drawing from its recent report ‘Under watchful eyes – biometrics, EU IT-systems and fundamental rights’.
