On 5 July, FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty travelled to The Hague for meetings at EU agencies and Dutch ministries.

With the Executive Director of the EU’s law enforcement agency (Europol), Catherine de Bolle, he discussed how both Agencies can best collaborate on issues of joint interest, including missing children, cybercrime or hate crime.

The FRA Director also met the President of the EU’s judicial cooperation agency, Eurojust, Ladislav Hamran, to exchange their views on common areas of interest to enhance cooperation between both agencies in such areas as judicial cooperation, cybercrime and the prevention of child trafficking.

Finally, he spoke about relevant areas of FRA’s work to the Netherlands’ Minister for Migration, Mark Harbers.
