Experts discuss AI’s future impact on EU societies

The EU-funded Human Brain Project held their AI 360 COPENHAGEN workshop from 21 to 22 March.

The workshop was designed to facilitate a comprehensive evaluation of the future implications of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for European society. It brought together recognised experts in rights and ethics, law, social science, culture, politics and economy, allowing for a multidimensional and thorough discussion.

The workshop was an occasion to bring fundamental rights to the centre of the discussions and to raise awareness about the agency’s current and past research in relation to data protection and new technologies.
