On 1 February in Turin, the agency spoke about its work during a conference that sought to explore inter-institutional cooperation in combating hate crime.
It the final conference of the EU-funded ‘Good Practice Plus Project Reloaded’ project. The project was a partnership between the Finnish Ministry of Interior, the Migrant Center Northern Ireland and Altera. It aimed at improving understanding of hate crime and the ability of law enforcement agencies to address hate crime effectively.
A common action plan to combat hate crimes for local, national and European level authorities was presented at the event.
