Promoting inclusion at the Open Government Partnership Summit

FRA hosted a workshop on 30 May on empowering socially excluded people to participate in designing, implementing and monitoring policies.

It was part of the 2019 Open Government Partnership global summit.

The OGP is a multilateral global initiative launched in 2011 to provide an international platform for making governments more open and accountable. 79 countries worldwide are members of the OGP, among them 21 EU Member States.

OGP develops national action plans, thereby securing commitments from governments to promote transparency, empower citizens, ensure civic space, fight corruption, and harness new technologies to strengthen governance.
