On 16 March, FRA took part in an online seminar by the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) on the identification of vulnerable people and victim protection during initial registration at external borders.
The webinar’s aim was to equip border police staff carrying out identification procedures with the relevant skills. This will improve the swift identification of vulnerable people and victims.
FRA presentation focused on fundamental rights safeguards necessary for the identification of unaccompanied children and victims of trafficking. Over 170 participants attended the webinar.
