FRA joined a virtual meeting on 23 March with civil society organisations to discuss their views on the agency’s suggested Roma inclusion indicators.
FRA presented the indicators to the European Commission in October. Following this, civil society gave their view, some of which were reflected in the revised indicators.
During this meeting, FRA presented the issues discussed in the context of the relaunched Working Party on Roma inclusion indicators. It drew on a detailed overview of the submitted comments and a summary of the proposed indicators compiled by FRA.
Civil society will have the opportunity to comment on the last versions of the indicators later. FRA is also looking at engaging civil society in the monitoring process.
