Police stops network holds its closing conference

On 28 February, FRA spoke at the closing conference of the EU-funded PolStops network.

The network explored the practices of police stops. It created a network of experts across Europe sharing the same objectives of understanding police stops and improving the relationship between the police and those they police.

Academic experts and police trainers attended the conference in The Hague.

FRA highlighted findings from its Fundamental Rights Survey, and minorities and discrimination surveys. It also raised awareness of upcoming survey findings and its project on the challenges and opportunities of anti-racism practices in policing.
