From 11 to 13 July, the Agency will take part in the 4th Euroscience Open Forum “Sharing Science: Towards new horizons” (ESOF 2018) in Toulouse, which will bring together over 4.000 researchers, educators, business actors, policy makers and journalists to discuss newest scientific developments.

FRA co-organised a panel on Social inclusion in a globalised world with a specific focus on its meaning for children and young adults based on research in social and cultural psychology together with a multi-disciplinary perspective.

In this context the Agency will present data on the experience of discrimination and segregation in school settings based on its work on Roma inclusion, the Second European Union Minorities and Discrimination Survey and Together in the EU: Promoting the participation of migrants and their descendants.

The Agency will also speak about what is happening at EU policy level to contribute to reducing social inequalities, increasing a sense of belonging and attaining social inclusion in society from a young age onwards.
