FRA contributes to IMISCOE conference on Europe, migration and intercultural challenges

On 2-4 July FRA participated in the 15th IMISCOE Annual Conference on “Europe, Migrations and the Mediterranean: Human Mobilities and Intercultural Challenges” in Barcelona.

The event was hosted by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, and brought together a number of academics active in the field of migration and integration studies from Europe, as well as internationally.

In particular, FRA presented its Local Engagement for Roma Inclusion (LERI) project findings in a panel and a workshop on “Participation and Participatory Methods in Migration Research.

Fine-tuning concepts, linking with art approaches and analysing cross-cutting topics”. Several sessions on discrimination testing and sampling migrant populations were also relevant for FRA research.
