From 11 to 12 February, the agencies discussed key matters with representatives of the European Commission and European Court of Auditors related to organisational development and optimal resource management such as implications of latest case law of the Union courts, fostering the use of common IT tools in human resources management, the implementation of new data protection regulation and audit priorities in 2019.
On 13 February, the Heads of Agencies discussed matters of strategic importance to all EU agencies with representatives of the European Commission, Council of the European Union and European Parliament. These included, contributions to the Commission’s priorities in the area of Security Union, alternative ways of financing and implications of Brexit for agencies’ operations and functioning. These meetings are part of the regular series of joint events that continuously enhance the cooperation among the EU agencies, increase their efficiency and boost impact.
