It also supports the anniversary conference ‘25 Years of Rights: Reflecting on the Impact of the Charter’ on 10-11 December, which is organised by the European Commission, FRA and the Danish Presidency of the Council. The conference will discuss the positive impact of Charter over the last 25 years internationally and nationally.
The conference will be live streamed.
Both events are part of FRA’s wider efforts to promote the application of the EU Charter across the EU. It has a wide spectrum of tools ranging from the online database Charterpedia, a handbook for legal practitioners (in 23 languages), a training manual (also in 23 languages) and more.
At the anniversary conference, FRA will launch a new report on better lawmaking that will underline the role of the EU Charter for law and policy making at EU and national levels. Moreover, the Agency will present a Sign Language version of the Charter.
