FRA will join virtually the plenary meeting of the Spanish Council for the Elimination of Racial or Ethnic Discrimination on 17 December.
There will be a debate introducing a question on ethnic origin in statistics, surveys and studies.
The Council is composed of various public administrations at the State, autonomous region, and local levels. Representative employers organisations and trade unions as well as civil society organisations working on equality and promoting the equal treatment and non-discrimination of people based on their racial or ethnic origin also form part of the Council.
