The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will host a remote public hearing on 21 April on the views and expectations for the future of Roma communities following the new EU Roma framework.

FRA will join a panel with the European Commission to introduce the new EU Roma framework. The framework sets targets for the next 10 years on fighting antigypsyism and discrimination, ensuring equal access to services, reducing poverty and social exclusion, and promoting Roma participation. Civil society organisations will also voice their views during the hearing.
