The overall objective of the contract is to provide FRA with a mapping and description of relevant EU law (including case law) about the right to freedom of expression and information, and non-discrimination, in view of the functioning and design of online platforms, as well as a review of empirical evidence and studies linked to these two rights on online platforms with respect to hate speech and related topics.
