13. pants - Humanitāro un eksakto zinātņu brīvība

Pētījumi humanitārajās un eksaktajās zinātnēs ir brīvi. Tiek respektēta akadēmiskā brīvība.

      Šīs tiesības galvenokārt ir atvasinātas no tiesībām uz domu un izteiksmes brīvību. Tās var īstenot, ievērojot 1. pantu, un tām var uzlikt ierobežojumus, kas atļauti ar ECK 10. pantu.

      Preamble - Explanations relating to the Charter of Fundamental Rights:
      Šie paskaidrojumi ir sagatavoti Eiropas Savienības Pamattiesību hartu izstrādājušā Konventa prezidija vadībā. Tie ir atjaunināti Eiropas Konventa prezidija vadībā, ņemot vērā Konventa izdarītos Hartas teksta (jo īpaši 51. un 52. panta) precizējumus un Savienības tiesību turpmāku attīstību. Kaut arī šiem paskaidrojumiem nav juridiska spēka, tie ir vērtīgi interpretācijas līdzekļi, kas paredzēti Hartas noteikumu izskaidrošanai.

(3) Magyarország védi a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia és a Magyar Művészeti Akadémia tudományos és művészeti szabadságát. A felsőoktatási intézmények a kutatás és a tanítás tartalmát, módszereit illetően önállóak, szervezeti rendjüket és gazdálkodásukat törvény szabályozza. Az állami felsőoktatási intézmények gazdálkodási rendjét törvény keretei között a Kormány határozza meg, gazdálkodásukat a Kormány felügyeli.
