In the framework of the agency’s cooperation with civil society, FRA will speak at the opening session of the International Civil Society Forum in Bucharest that takes place from 3 to 4 June.

The opening session will explore the outlook of major institutional and civil society stakeholders on the most significant challenges for the EU today and the role civil society should play in strengthening support for EU values.

This conference will provide a unique space for civic actors to share and learn from different experiences, hear from a variety of stakeholders and engender meaningful cooperation between civil society and institutions at all levels towards giving real substance to shared EU values through dialogue and policy making.

The event is being organised by the Civil Society Development Foundation in Romania and the Slovenian Center for Information, Cooperation and NGO Development in cooperation with the European Civic Forum and in the framework of the Romanian EU Presidency.
