FRA to participate in World Pride Human Rights Forum

FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty will take part in the Human Rights Forum conference in Copenhagen at this year's WorldPride.

He will participate in several plenary panels, including the closing plenary, over the three-day conference from 17 to 19 August.

Participants will discuss current and future challenges and opportunities for LGBTI+ people around the globe.

High-level officials and community members will deliver statements in eight plenaries. Participants can take part in over 50 breakout sessions, networking sessions, and meet and greets.

FRA will also host two online panels on 18 August.

The conference takes place in a hybrid form and is open for policymakers, human rights defenders and activists, elected officials, academics, NGOs, media, Pride organisers and sports leaders in the field of rights for LGBTI+ poeple.

During WorldPride, the FRA Director will also meet with other high-level officials and LGBTI activists.
