FRA will host an expert meeting on the importance of fundamental rights to the rule of law on 25 and 26 November. The meeting will bring together some 20 experts from the judiciary, national human rights structures, civil society and academia to discuss the links between fundamental rights and the rule of law.
On 19 November, FRA intervened in a closed event in Brussels on the EU’s facilitation directive, organised by the EU Office of the Red Cross and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
FRA attended the 8th International Border Management Conference co-organised by the Dutch Ministry of Asylum and Migration and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).

FRA attended discussions on communication aspects of law enforcement access to data during a meeting of the Council Standing Committee on Operational Cooperation on Internal Security (COSI) Support Group.
FRA gave a presentation on Roma surveys and their effect on inclusion policies during a workshop organised under the Council of Europe’s Roma Political Schools programme.
FRA shared information about investigations of alleged fundamental rights violations at borders during a meeting of the Council Working Party for Schengen Matters, upon invitation by the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
FRA presented its ongoing work under the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum at the annual conference that the Czech Ombudsperson organises on refugee and immigration law.
FRA supported training of the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) national units at the Europol premises in The Hague between 4 and 6 November.
FRA joined the plenary meeting online of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence (CAI) from 3 to 5 November.
On 10 November, FRA took part in a workshop on the EU LGBTIQ Equality Strategy (2026–2030) in Brussels. The European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs organised the meeting.
On 19 November, FRA will hold the official opening event of its Brussels Liaison Office with a high-level debate and a reception.
FRA and the European Economic and Social Committee will sign an Exchange of Letters on 20 November.
The Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU invited FRA to present key findings of its projects on high-risk AI and on the digitalisation of justice.
FRA will speak at a workshop on the challenges and opportunities of monitoring EU law compliance.
FRA and the European Committee of the Regions’ Commission for Citizenship, Governance, Institutional and External Affairs (CIVEX) will hold its Annual Dialogue. The meeting will be dedicated to the role of local and regional authorities in democracy and fundamental rights in the EU, in light of the European Democracy Shield.
FRA will take part in the annual EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security. The event will address key innovation topics for the EU internal security community such as foresight, biometrics, AI and fundamental rights.
FRA is holding an online information session for its national liaison officers and public authorities on its recent report, 'Digitalising justice: A fundamental rights-based approach'.
