FRA discusses migration narratives with think tanks in Brussels

FRA presented the 10 keys to effectively communicating rights and its implementation during a roundtable discussion in Brussels on 18 September.

It was organised by the Brussels-based think tank, the European Policy Centre (EPC), together with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), as part of ‘EU communications on migration: perspectives and strategies’ project.

This EU funded project seeks to develop practical recommendations and tools that can help strengthen the EU’s communications on migration. The roundtable’s goal was to ensure that existing research and learning is feeding into the process and that civil society input is strengthen.

FRA discussed how, thanks to its partnership with media organisations, it has reached out to more than 200 journalists in two months with its eMedia Toolkit, an e-learning platform for media on coverage of migration news.
