To mark the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights, FRA jointly organised with the European Commission and the Danish Presidency of the Council a conference entitled ‘25 Years of Rights: Reflecting on the Impact of the Charter’.
The 170 participants included experts, civil servants, judges, NGOs and politicians alike. The conference allowed the European Commission to present the mid-term review of its Charter Strategy and FRA to launch its new report Better legislation – Human rights impact assessments in lawmaking.
