FRA discusses sexual harassment at work with business community

FRA and the European Institute for Gender Equality discussed the prevalence of workplace sexual harassment during an online Eurochambres workshop on 23 May. It was an opportunity to present the Eurostat, FRA, EIGE survey on gender-based violence to the business community.

FRA and EIGE presented more detailed findings on the experiences of women at work across the EU.

They looked at general levels of violence, as well levels of workplace sexual harassment, reporting, training and overall awareness of where to go for support. They also looked at the different levels experienced across age groups, which is particularly among young women.

Eurochambres is the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and industry. It represents over 20 million businesses through its members, and a network of 1700 regional and local chambers across Europe.
