Consultation with the Fundamental Rights Platform on funding for the promotion, protection and enforcement of fundamental rights

In 2024, the European Commission’s Annual report on the application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (‘2024 Charter report’) will be dedicated to funding to promote, protect, and enforce fundamental rights in the EU. The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) will contribute to the report with the results of a consultation with its civil society network.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this consultation. It should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete this survey. Your views will help to:

a) Understand the added value of the European Union’s funding for fundamental rights;
b) Highlight areas in need of further development.

The results from this consultation will be reflected in a FRA paper and will feed into the European Commission’s annual report on the Charter 2024.

This questionnaire asks you to kindly provide information on:

• Background about your organisation
• Questions on EU funding (covering EU internal funding and not EU funding in external action)
• Questions on national funding
• Questions on your work on fundamental rights compliance of EU funds.

Please ensure that only one questionnaire is submitted by your organisation. Your answers are fully anonymous and cannot be traced back to you.

For more information, please contact us at frp@fra.europa.eu.

Thank you in advance for your time and input!
