In 2020, the House of Human Rights (Mënscherechtshaus) brought the Consultative Commission on Human Rights of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Commission consultative des Droits de l’Homme du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg), the Centre for Equal Treatment (Centre pour l’égalité de traitement) and the Ombudsman for Children and Youth (Ombudsman fir Kanner a Jugendlecher) together under one roof.
According to the Consultative Commission on Human Rights and the Centre for Equal Treatment, the proximity offered by the House of Human Rights facilitates cooperation and enables synergies to develop between these different human rights bodies, undoubtedly strengthening their collaboration on specific thematic issues.
