The Danish case: Analysing comments on facebook sites of major danish public media, the report finds that 5 subjects top the list as the most hateful. Hate speech appear in; 40 % of all comments on ‘Religion and faith’, 34 % of all comments on ‘Refugees’, 29 % of all comments on ‘Equality’, 24 % of all comments on ‘Politics’, and 24 % of all comments on ‘Integration’. Hate is most often aimed at the ‘political viewpoint’ (31 %), ‘ethnicity’ (22 %), ‘religious belief’ (21 %), and gender (15 %) of a person or a group of persons. On ‘ethnicity’, 75 % of all hateful comments was targeting ‘non-westerners’, and 86 % of all hateful comments on religion included hate on Islam..
