Key findings

Over half of respondents report widespread discrimination in their country based on being Roma (65%), skin colour (61%), ethnic origin (60%), gender identity (being transgender, 57%), or sexual orientation (54%). 21% of the respondents say they have personally experienced discrimination or harassment in the past year. The most commonly cited bases for discrimination or harassment include age, gender, political opinions, socio-economic status, and general physical appearance. Public spaces and workplaces are identified as the main settings where such incidents occur.
