Act on Health, Consolidated Act No. 903 of 26 August 2019 with amendments (Sundhedsloven, lovbekendtgørelse nr. 903 af 26. august 2019 med senere ændringer)Prisoners are exempted from certain health care services (prisoners cannot access a medical practice et cetera outside the prison facility), but are otherwise entitled to enjoy regular access to health care.
Ministerial order no. 399 of 9 June 2015 (Bekendtgørelse nr. 399 af 9. april 2015 om sundhedsmæssig bistand til indsatte i kriminalforsorgens institutioner)Regulates the access for prisoners to be examined and treated by a doctor, psychiatrist or dentist.
