Code of Execution of Sentences (Bausmių vykdymo kodeksas)Detainees serving their sentences in correction houses must be allowed outdoor walks for 4 hours per day if they are under light regime (regime for detainees demonstrating progress towards rehabilitation, they have more freedoms in using the facilities and are typically allowed free movement in whole or part of the institution’s interior), 3 hours if they are under regular regime (typical regime, detainees might be allowed free movement in whole or part of the institution’s interior), and 2 hours if they are under disciplinary regime (a restrictive regime for detainees committing breaches of interior rules, detainees under disciplinary regime are confined to their living quarters). Detainees serving their sentences in prisons must be allowed outdoor walks for 1.5 hours per day if they are under regular regime, and 1 hour if they are under disciplinary regime. - Detainees serving their sentences in open colonies must be allowed unlimited free movement in the colonies’ territory during the daytime. - Detainees held in pre-trial detention must be allowed to walk outdoors for no less than 1 hour per day.
