| Prisons Regulations, Subsidiary Legislation 260.03 | A convicted prisoner is entitled to receive a visit once a week. The Director may defer the right of a prisoner to a visit until the expiration of any period of cellular confinement. The duration of any visit and the number of visitors will be established by the Director. Convicted prisoners are entitled to send and receive a letter on their admission to prison and thereafter once a week. The Director may allow a prisoner to send or receive an additional letter or visit when necessary for his welfare or that of his family. The frequency and duration of telephones made or received by prisoners, as well as the persons with whom such communications can be held, is determined by the Director. |
