| Order Regarding the implementation of the Code on Enforcement of Punishment, the Law on Probation and the Law on the Execution of Arrest | The specific place of execution of the sentence for convicts is selected according to the list of places of arrest and imprisonment approved by the Director of the Lithuanian Prisons Service, which must indicate which sentenced person and in which place of execution of the sentence is serving arrest or imprisonment sentences. Open regime correction institutions are divided into open houses and halfway houses. Persons convicted of crimes for which a prison sentence does not exceed one year serve prison terms in open houses (except for persons convicted of intentional crimes committed during temporary detention or arrest or serving a prison sentence). Sentenced persons who require intensive preparation for release from prison institutions serve their prison sentences in halfway homes. |
| Order Regarding the approval of the list of the delivery of arrested and convicted persons to specific places of execution of punishment and the list of the places of execution of sentences of deprivation of liberty | When assigning a sentenced person to a specific place of execution, the recommendations of the employees performing criminal intelligence, accounting, protection and supervision, resocialisation, and psychological and health care and criteria established in Article 30(2) of the Code on Enforcement of Punishment are taken into account. |
