- In October 2018, the GNCHR was re-elected for a second consecutive term (2019–2022) to the European Coordinating Committee, the executive body of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI). At the same ENNHRI General Assembly, the GNCHR was elected to the Bureau of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI).
