  • The council was established as a working body of the government with a five-year mandate. It is a mechanism for cooperation with civil society and dialogue on key issues related to civil society.

Structured cooperation with partners at national level

  • The council may request data, documentation and information related to its work from competent state authorities and organisations. It submits a report on its work to the relevant committee at least every 60 days and to the government at least every 90 days. The members of the council are 9 representatives of ministries and 11 representatives of civil-society organisations.
