Key findings

The annual report of the CET makes it possible to follow up the activities, encounters and interviews carried out during the year by this equality body. The most important information are the statistics: From 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012, 109 new complaints of discrimination were identified by CET.

Methodology (Qualitative/Quantitative and exact type used, questionnaires etc)

The statistics of CET include every case of discrimination identified as such by the equality body, whether the complaint had been introduced by the victim itself or by a third person.

Sample details and representativeness

In 2012 there were 113 reported cases. They are ordered and analysed by gender, age, nationality, nature of discrimination (3 cases for religion and 15 for race in 2012), domain of discrimination and follow-up status for each case.
