Key findings

The year 2012 saw an alarming return of Antisemitism and confirms the increase in acts directed against Muslims. For the third consecutive year within French society tolerance fell (3.3 percentage points), with xenophobic sentiments spreading.

Methodology (Qualitative/Quantitative and exact type used, questionnaires etc)

Quantitative: A face-to-face survey carried out from 2 to 12 December 2013. The questionnaire was designed by the members of the CNCDH with the survey organisation.

Public survey - 1026 adult respondents living in metropolitan France
