Key findings

This report has found a significant increase in politically and hate motivated crimes in 2013, compared to 2012. While the number of right-wing motivated crimes has slightly decreased, compared to the previous year. The main reasons were attributed to xenophobic motivations. The report also describes the significance of the Internet for extremist propaganda, which is particularly prevalent among the right-wing population.

Qualitative analysis of major anti-constitutional crimes committed in Germany. Categorized in overlying themes such as right- and left-wing extremism, Islamic terrorism, espionage and scientology, this report evaluates the threats and crimes committed in 2016.
