There is a remarkable degree of peaceful living together among native and foreign population as indicated by data on the public perceptions towards migrants and a relatively low incidence of racist and xenophobic incidents.
A high number of racist and xenophobic incidents occurr within sports.

The data were obtained through the Crime Statistics System (statistical system of criminality (SEC)).
For its computation takes into account the facts that have being acknowledge b the following police corps: Guardia Civil, the National Police, the independent police of the different autonomous communities (Ertzaintza and Mossos d'esquadra and Policía Foral de Navarra) as well as the Local Police.
