Key findings

The report has found that the number of politically and hate motivated crimes from the far-right have not changed significantly to the previous year. The number of violent acts from the right-wing has increased drastically by over 20 %.
Right-wing demonstrations and agitations have mainly focused on asylum seekers and Muslims in Germany. Many of these movements use propaganda and fear to spread resentment towards the target groups.

Qualitative analysis of major anti-constitutional crimes committed in Germany. Categorized in overlying themes such as right- and left-wing extremism, Islamic terrorism, espionage and scientology, this report evaluates the threats and crimes committed in 2016.
