Key findings
The report looks into how companies make illegal demands for apprentices' ethnicity. The report revealed that 36% of participants (who are vocational school training consultants) frequently encounter companies demanding specific ethnicities for apprenticeships. Of these, 51% try to meet these illegal demands to some degree.
Methodology (Qualitative/Quantitative and exact type used, questionnaires etc)
Quantitative and qualitative questionnaire
Sample details and representativeness
The empirical basis for the analysis is a questionnaire survey sent out to 235 employees at vocational schools responsible for arranging apprenticeships between students and employers. The 235 employees represent all vocational schools in Denmark with the exception of schools that only offer welfare and agricultural programs. 118 have responded fully or partially to the questionnaire, which means that the survey has a response rate of 50 percent.
