Methodology (Qualitative/Quantitative and exact type used, questionnaires etc)
Qualitative. The guide's production involved four research processes: firstly legal research during which staff from the Equal Rights Trust and OHCHR identified international legal standards on equality and non-discrimination, analysing human rights instruments and commentary. Secondly, OHCHR and partners gathered inputs from states, civil society, and experts through public calls and outreach. Moreover, four online consultations were held to discuss key themes and issues. And finally, drafts were reviewed and validated by over 50 experts, with feedback incorporated to ensure accuracy and completeness.
