We shouldn’t be here this morning. It shouldn’t be that 100 years after the Philadelphia Declaration and the founding of the ILO that we should talk about systemic, criminal exploitation of labour. It shouldn’t be that we should talk about it in, of all places, Europe.

L’exploitation grave par le travail des travailleurs migrants : un rapport de la FRA appelle à la « tolérance zéro » en la matière
Des travaux de recherche de la FRA publiés aujourd’hui soulignent la nécessité urgente pour les gouvernements européens de faire plus pour lutter contre les formes graves d’exploitation par le travail dans les entreprises, les usines et les exploitations agricoles dans l’ensemble de l’UE. Des entretiens directs menés avec des centaines de travailleurs exploités révèlent des pratiques illégales dans des secteurs tels que l’agriculture, la construction, le travail domestique, l’hôtellerie, la fabrication et les transports.
