EU Charter app

FRA has developed an EU Charter app - a fundamental rights one-stop-shop for mobile devices.

Anyone interested in fundamental rights in the European Union (EU) can now have easy access to the text of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights in all official languages on their mobile device.

The EU Charter app consists of an app for offline information for Android and iOS devices.

The EU Charter app provides regularly updated information on an article-by-article basis on:

  • related EU and international law
  • European Court of Justice (CJEU) case law and a selection of European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and national case law that refers directly to one of the Charter Articles
  • related FRA publications
The latest update also contains a quiz to test your knowledge about scenarios in which the Charter may or may not apply.

The EU Charter app is currently available on Google Play and iTunes.
