Registration

Participation in the conference is by registration only – please kindly click here to register by 12 October 2014.

Registration is open to all interested stakeholders. Registrations will be confirmed by the organisers, depending on the space available, and taking into account institutional, geographic and thematic balance among participants.

Conference venue

The conference “Tackling sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination: next steps in EU and Member State policy making” will be held at the Council of the European Union in Brussels (Justus Lipsius Building, Press Room) on 28th October 2014.

Important:

To access the Council building, it is mandatory to have a passport or an ID card (passport for non-EU citizens)!

You are encouraged to arrive early in order to undergo security checks to avoid delays!

How to reach the Council of the EU

From the airport:

The Airport Line is a 30-minute express service between Brussels Airport and the European quarter (“Schuman” station).

From Monday to Friday before 8 pm the Airport Line is operated as an express service with number 12 and only serves the major stops.

On weekdays after 8 pm, and the whole day on Saturday, Sunday and holidays the Airport Line is operated as a regular service with number 21, serving all stops.

All MIVB/STIB buses depart from platform C. In order to save time and money, buy your ticket from the GO ticket vending machines before boarding. These machines accept Maestro bank cards, credit cards and coins. Tickets bought from the driver are more expensive. Info tel. +32 70 23 20 00
