FRA will contribute to a UN’s Human Rights Council debate in Geneva on 3 December.

It will present findings from its publication ‘Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals in the EU: a matter of human and fundamental rights’ and share examples of its relevant statistical data and other evidence.

The debate forms part of the Human Rights Council Intersessional meeting on Human Rights and the 2030 Agenda, a Decade for Action and Delivery on the SDGs.

This high-level conference will explore how can promoting human rights accelerate the realisation of the SDGs. It will address the challenges of combating inequalities so as to leave no one behind.

The event will also focus on human rights and SDG implementation at the national level.
