On 9 and 10 November, FRA will organise a meeting of its National Liaison Officers in Vienna. The meeting will bring together government representatives from 27 Member States and three Candidates Countries (Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia).

The meeting will aim to inform NLOs on the FRA Strategic Plan 2023-2028. FRA will also provide an update about ongoing work and planned activities for 2024 across all thematic areas of the agency’s work. Representatives from the ongoing Council Presidency of the EU, as well of the two following Presidencies, namely Spain, Belgium and Hungary will present an overview of key priorities of their respective presidency and flagship events on fundamental rights.

The meeting will also allow for a dialogue between NLOs and the FRA Director, Michael O’Flaherty.

National Liaison Officers are the main contact points for the agency in Member States. FRA meets twice a year its National Liaison Officers in person and online.
