FRA launches new version of EFRIS tool

FRA launched a major new version of its European Fundamental Rights Information System – EFRIS.

It includes enhancements to its search function. The new search allows users to easily search the texts of various human rights instruments from sources including the UN and the Council of Europe.

The database also contains jurisprudence and reports from the various monitoring mechanisms.

The database and the search function serve as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for human rights material from these bodies. Users can filter the results using keywords or tags, or limit the search to a specific country.

EFRIS brings together and visualises information on human rights commitments and compliance of the 27 EU Member States, and Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia, which are EU candidate countries that participate in FRA’s work as observers.
